ABOUT US

REHDA Institute is an independent not-for-profit foundation which acts as the training, research and education arm of REHDA Malaysia to address the needs of the housing and property industry.

The affairs of REHDA Institute are governed by an independent Board of Trustees led by REHDA Institute Chairman. The Board consists of prominent industry personalities including many past-Presidents of REHDA Malaysia who have contributed significantly to the growth and advancement of the housing and property industry.

The Institute also appoints senior industry experts (comprising those from civil service and private sector) as research advisory task force members to ensure that the perspective and position taken by the Institute is inclusive and relevant.

The Institute’s objectives and activities focus on the 3 main pillars of:

Training

To develop the human capital and equip industry stakeholders with the right knowledge, tools and capabilities to enhance the professionalism and efficiency of the real estate industry. Recognising that industry stakeholders – Government, developers, homebuyers and consultants are navigating numerous challenges, REHDA Institute formulates its training and events pillar to deliver programmes that bring clarity and relevance.

Research

A leading think tank in the industry that excels in anticipating and addressing sector challenges through rigorous analysis and impartial research. Known for its high-quality publications, the Institute has built a reputation for delivering accurate and valuable insights. Its ongoing commitment to producing consistent research reports has established it as a credible source of information, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous inquiry.

Education

As Malaysia’s real estate industry evolved, it became more complex and globalised, requiring advanced skills and knowledge. Recognising the need for practical and theoretical integration, REHDA Institute partners with tertiary institutions to offer a Master’s Degree Program and Executive Programs for middle and senior management, aiming to develop future industry leaders with industry-relevant skills.
