Housing Conference 2018

October 9, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 6:00 pm UTC+8

Reinventing Affordability
Issue of affordability is plaguing many housing markets, more so as development costs continue to increase and buyers’ purchasing power is hindered by high costs of living and low wages. How do we tackle this issue for Malaysia? Can we provide a sustainable solution to the pressing issue by adopting best practices of other countries in the region?

Through public – private participation, the industry has built millions of units of affordable houses over the years and yet we are still facing the same problem today. Is our affordable housing
ecosystem not sustainable? If so, how can we reinvent affordability in the current housing market? Join us at the Housing Conference 2018 – Reinventing Affordability to participate in a discussion
that will provide invaluable insight into the practices of other housing markets, the challenges faced by the industry in affordable housing provision and the high impact solutions that could potentially change the game plan for affordable housing supply and demand for the country.
